How we handle the information you give us.
The short version
We collect only what you type into our contact forms. We use it to answer you. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it or hand it to marketing companies. This website has no accounts, no passwords, no shopping cart, no advertising trackers and no database.
What we collect
- Information you submit through a form on this site: your name, company, email address, telephone number, the option you select, and the message you write.
- Basic technical information that accompanies any web request, including your IP address, browser user agent and the time of the request. We use this only to stop automated abuse of the contact form and to keep the server secure.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social media pixels or behavioral tracking of any kind on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to carry out the brokerage services you ask about.
- To keep a record of the enquiry so nothing gets lost.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing email you did not ask for.
Who sees it
Form submissions are delivered by email to W. Edward Barker of WEB Business Advisors, LLC. A copy is stored in a private file on our web server that is not reachable from the internet.
We do not disclose your identity or the details of your business to a third party without your permission. In a brokerage engagement, confidential information is released to a prospective buyer only after that buyer has been qualified and you have approved the release, normally under a signed non disclosure agreement.
We may disclose information where we are required to by law, by a court order, or where it is necessary to protect our legal rights.
Service providers
This website is delivered by our web hosting provider, and email is delivered through standard mail services. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file, including your IP address, in the same way as any other website that uses that service.
Our listings page displays our current businesses for sale in a window served directly by BizBuySell, where those listings are published. When you view that page, BizBuySell receives the request for its own content, including your IP address, and applies its own privacy policy and cookies to it, exactly as if you had visited BizBuySell yourself. We do not control that and we receive nothing from it. Nothing else on this site loads from a third party.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our record keeping obligations, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. It is a static website: there is no content management system, no plugin ecosystem, no administrative login and no database, which removes the most common ways a small business website gets compromised. Form submissions are validated and filtered before they are used, and the stored record of enquiries is blocked from public access.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive financial documents, account numbers or identification numbers through the website contact form. Call us and we will arrange a secure way to exchange them.
Your choices

Children
This website is intended for business owners and buyers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
